Welcome Home
Given the image the title may seem strange, but anyone returning to Ireland especially after living abroad for any period will know exactly what these stacks mean; a warm welcome and a cup of tea from Mammy.

Holy Trinity Presbyterian, Kildorough, , Co. Cavan, Ireland, built in 1862 and consecrated on 3rd April 1864. It was used for occasional sevices in the early 1960's but closed sometime in the 1970's.
I first came across this church when looking to move from Dublin, it was months after I had moved ot the area that I realised it was within 5 minutes of my new home. its a beautiful little church and sad to see it in such a bad way, broken windows and teh door is in a bad state of repair. But asd you can see it has recently (2019) had the grounds and street wall refurbished and i believe teh interior has also been cleaned up.
