This shoot didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted it to. My vision was the fireworks would kick the sand into the air. Still the effects are pretty good, next time I’ll find softer sand and cover the firework.
The setup is pretty straight forward, prepose teh Action Figure how you want them. Use wire or sticks if needed (edit these out in post production). Then putting the camera on a tripod, compose and focus teh scene. Finally clear any debris or garbage from the scene, light the firework and shoot on burst mode. Using burst mode allows you to capture a number of different shots with varying degrees of smoke and sparks.
